Barb Foss of Fairfield recently returned from a week-long trip during which her car was parked at the Cedar Rapids Airport. Upon returning to town, she noticed a bird had made a nest underneath the windshield wipers of her car and had laid two eggs in it. Foss said she doesn’t know what to do with the eggs or the nest. She is planning to leave the eggs on the car for her upcoming trip to Kansas City.
