WILLIAMSBURG — In the season opener at Williamsburg Monday, the Fairfield boys’ baseball team endured a rough first game before lightning spoiled a promising nightcap.
The Trojans fell to the host Raiders 10-0 in the opener of the twinbill. The postponed nightcap ended in a 1-all tie.
Fairfield head coach Josh Allison was just happy to get the season’s first games started.
