Cancellations and postponements around the Iowa sports world continued into Thursday and Friday, affecting softball and baseball games for Fairfield as well as all other area schools.
The Fairfield baseball team experienced its second straight postponement Thursday. Its JV-varsity doubleheader at Pella Christian was called off due to the inclement weather, with a makeup date pending.
