Des Moines food pantry sees big jump in demand

DES MOINES (AP) — A Des Moines food pantry is seeing a big jump in demand, with 10 percent more people served in November than in the same month a year ago. The Des Moines Area Religious Council says it provided food to 14,070 in November.
