Brighton, Washington, and Richland firefighters battle the sub-zero temperatures as well as a house fire Monday evening when a house in the 3000 block of Fir Avenue just outside of Brighton caught fire. Officials say the fire started around the fireplace. Alliant Energy was contacted.
