An update about holiday closings for Jefferson County Courthouse:
The courthouse will lock its doors at noon Tuesday, but departments will list phone numbers at the door of services still available Tuesday afternoon.
If a department is called, an employee will unlock the courthouse door and escort a person into the department to conduct business.
Normal closing time is 4:30 p.m.
