CLIVE (AP) — The Iowa Lottery plans to leave Des Moines for a $5.4 million building it’s buying in nearby Clive.
Lottery spokeswoman Mary Neubauer told The Des Moines Register that the lottery’s Des Moines building at 2323 Grand Ave. needs about $7.8 million in renovations that likely would exceed the building’s market value.
The Iowa Lottery Board on today will consider an agreement to buy the Clive property.
