The Fairfield bowling team traveled Saturday to Washington to take on the Demons and the Keokuk Chiefs.
The boys’ and girls’ teams both finished second behind Keokuk, while Washington finished in third.
The boys lost by a mere 37 pins. Chet Vogt led his squad with a game two 201 and a round one score of 348. Kyle Ruckman and Eric Swan both scored more than 330 in the first round.
