CEDAR RAPIDS — Travis Schombert, a college sophomore from Lockridge, placed in several events for the Morningside College swim team at the Liberal Arts Championships in Cedar Rapids.
The Fairfield High School graduate helped the Mustangs to a pair of fourth-place relay finishes. Schombert’s 200-yard freestyle relay finished in 1:27.87, and the 400-yard freestyle relay featuring Schombert posted a time of 3:14.48.
