MARSHALLTOWN (AP) — A Marshalltown man has been sentenced to 87 years in prison in the October death of a man whose fingers, teeth and patches of tattooed skin were removed from his body.
The sentence Monday for Jeremy Gartin, 30, follows a conviction in December of voluntary manslaughter, abuse of a corpse and carrying a concealed weapon, the Marshalltown Times-Republican reported.
